Hello everyone. I have decided to discontinue the online retail sales via the website. If you would like to order in bulk sizes of larger than 10 pounds per variety please email, or call, to place your order. If you are a returning customer and want less than 10 pounds it will be available for pickup at the farm, or at the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival in late September. Salvere Farm, located at the northeast end of Otisco Lake in Marietta, NY, is a certified organic, family-run farm since 2005. We specialize in garlic and shallots. Our farming approach combines traditional organic practices with the latest in eco-agriculture, strictly avoiding synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. This commitment enhances the nutrient density of our produce, evidenced by rising Brix levels, which signify improved mineral density and plant health, boosting flavor and extending shelf life. Our Philosophy
The farm’s name, Salvere, embodies our philosophy of health and preservation, derived from the same Latin root as Salvia, the genus that includes sage. Historically revered both for its medicinal and culinary properties, sage symbolizes the essence of our farm’s mission. As the ancient Chinese wisdom suggests, “How can a man grow old who has sage in his garden?”
