NY White is a softneck that is well adapted to northeast winters and can grow large. It very rarely forms some bulbils on the pseudostem. Artichoke softnecks have fewer and larger inner cloves than the silverskin softnecks which many people are familiar with. Great for use raw in salsa fresca. Stores longer than hardnecks.
